The Gala
Each year, FEM holds a gala that to highlight services and goods created by women-owned businesses. These are auctioned off and the money is used to fund resources and events for women in need. The Gala allows those who can donate to make a difference and have fun when socializing and listening to members of FEM in speeches. This Gala is a fun and inspirational form of donations, hosted yearly on the second Saturday of October. We invite all who can attend with a small entrance fee before the auctions begin.
In Past Years
In years past, this event has been rather successful. Helping us earn profits of up to $100,000 has been even more beneficial for the women-owned businesses that we have been able to help advertise during this event. Hopefully, this time we can surpass the years before so please come and join to help us make this event as successful as possible.
Why us?
You might be asking yourself why FEM is the best place to donate or be involved with and we can tell you why. We offer services to women that not many other non-profits do. We have a space for women from all backgrounds to display their products at the Gala. Further, any profit made from this event will be spent on getting more supplies for women in shelters.
How can you get involved?
We are always looking for volunteers to either help plan or help with day-of organization. Planning roles would include setting up vendors and creating a schedule. And day-of roles would include physical set-up, leading guests inside, and running any other behind the scenes that would be needed. The sign up is linked below!
